WarRoom AcademyFrom Boot Camp to the front line.
The Academy is WarRoom’s training ground: 131 lessons across 15 territories, laid out on a skill tree. Every lesson ends in drills on real Binance charts, replayed with fees and a time stop, and every territory ends in a field test on the live market.

01 · Why enrol
Why enrol in the Academy?
In a study of futures day traders who kept going for over 300 days, 97% lost money, and they didn’t get better with practice. Most of it isn’t bad luck. It’s too much leverage, no plan for being wrong, a position too big to survive one bad candle. Those can be learned before they cost money.

02 · The tree
Specialise in any style.
Boot Camp is the common ground. From there the tree branches out: six main territories, from price structure and order flow to risk and discipline, then eight specialist ones, from liquidity and walls to derivatives, multiple timeframes and macro. Follow the paths that fit how you trade, with more territories on the way.

03 · Lessons
Short lessons on real charts.
Each lesson teaches one idea on a real Binance chart, with quick checks as you go. Some lessons teach on WarRoom’s own screens, so what you learn is what you see in the terminal.

04 · Practice
Real charts, graded the same way for everyone.
Decide whether to trade, where you are wrong, where to take profit and how big to go. Lock the plan, and it is replayed from the next candle’s open, with fees, and scored in R.

05 · Field tests
Then prove it on the live market.
Take a lesson into WarRoom as a paper trade on the live market, with the plan locked before entry. When the trade closes, it is graded on how you planned and ran it: a real set-up, invalidation and size set before entry, a reward of at least 1.5R. Each territory ends in one.
- The result is recorded, but it never changes the grade
06 · Territories
Every territory has its own page.
Its lessons in chapters, what you have learned and drilled, and the territory’s field test.

07 · Today
A plan for every session.
Today’s brief lines up the next steps: a new lesson, a drill and chart reps, with how long each takes. Learned lessons come back for review on a schedule, so the ideas stay fresh.

WarRoom Academy: Crypto Trading on a Skill Tree
The WarRoom Academy is a crypto futures trading course built into the terminal. It has 131 lessons laid out on a skill tree of 15 territories, from how perpetual futures work to order flow, liquidity and open interest. Each lesson ends in practice on real Binance charts, and the plans you write are replayed with fixed rules, so the result you see is the result the chart gave.
What the Academy teaches
The course is grouped into territories on a map. Boot Camp comes first. It starts with how to read a chart, then covers how perpetual futures work, order types, leverage, liquidation, funding, position size, where a trade idea is wrong, and how WarRoom itself is laid out.
Once all nine Boot Camp lessons are learned, the main territories open:
- Price Structure: swings, trends, ranges and breaks.
- Volume & Order Flow: who is pushing the price and who is absorbing it, including CVD and spot against perpetual flow.
- Execution & Risk: stops, targets and exits you can live with.
- Discipline: the rules that keep you in the game, including when to skip a trade.
- Volatility & Regime: calm markets, wild markets, and the moment one turns into the other.
- Recon: finding the few coins worth your attention today.
Eight specialist territories open later, each behind its own gate: Liquidity & Walls, Derivatives & Positioning, Multi Timeframe, Macro Context, Strategy Construction, Portfolio Risk, Performance Analysis and Research Literacy. They cover limit walls, stop clusters, open interest, funding extremes, forced selling, and how to build, size and review a strategy.
How the skill tree works
The Academy opens on its skill tree, laid out like the skill tree in a role-playing game. Every lesson is a node, grouped around the hub of its territory. Lessons you have learned light up, lessons you have also drilled turn orange, locked lessons are dim, and the next lesson to take glows. Each hub shows how many of its lessons you have learned. Tap a node to see what it teaches and open it.
Inside a territory, the first topic opens first and the rest follow in order. A locked lesson always tells you what opens it, for example “Opens after the Market State lessons”. Today’s brief suggests the next session: a new lesson, a drill and chart reps, with how long each takes.
The tree also holds pieces you discover rather than pick. Discoveries open when their parent lessons are learned. Each one combines ideas from several lessons, often into the pattern behind a WarRoom Scout preset, and is practised on real chart cases. Doctrines are rules of conduct with a short check you must pass. Titles are certifications earned with a test. Their names show as “? ? ?” until you reach them.
Practice on real charts, with real results
Every lesson has a practice path. Practice uses real Binance chart windows that were picked because they show what the lesson describes. There are no drawn examples that behave perfectly.
In Practice Field missions you look at a real chart and decide whether to trade, where the idea is wrong, where you would take profit and how big to go. The Academy then replays the plan with fixed rules, so everyone is graded the same way:
- You are filled at the next candle’s open.
- The stop and target come from your plan. If one candle touches both, the stop counts first.
- A trade that has not reached +1R within the time stop (12 candles by default) is closed.
- Fees are included, and results are shown in R: multiples of the amount you risked.
Learned lessons come back for review on a schedule, so the ideas stay fresh after the first pass.
Field missions: practice inside the live terminal
Some missions take you out of the course and into WarRoom itself, as real paper trades: for example, trade a fresh Scout alert, a failed breakout or a sweep and reclaim, with a plan locked before entry. These Field missions are graded on WarRoom’s server from your paper trades in Trades, so you need to be signed in. Each territory also ends in a field test: one live paper trade, planned before entry and graded when it closes.
The Academy also opens up Trades, WarRoom’s paper trading. The checks on a plan drawn on the chart appear as you learn the lessons that teach them, such as a reward of at least 1.5 times the risk or a stop at least one ATR from entry. See the Trades page for how that works.
Who it is for
The Academy is written for traders who already know what a candle is and want to understand the evidence underneath it: order flow, positioning and liquidity. Boot Camp assumes no futures experience. The later territories assume you have finished it.
It is educational. It does not give signals or tell you what to trade, and practice results describe how a plan played out on a past chart, not what will happen next.
Frequently asked questions
Why enrol in the Academy?
Because most traders lose, and losing doesn’t teach them. In a study of futures day traders who kept going for over 300 days, 97% lost money, only 0.4% earned more than a bank teller, and there was no sign they improved with practice. Most of it isn’t bad luck: it’s too much leverage, no plan for being wrong, a position too big to survive one bad candle. The Academy teaches those before they cost money, and grades how you plan a trade, never whether it made money. No course can promise profits, and the Academy doesn’t.
Is the WarRoom Academy free?
The Academy is included in the one WarRoom membership, $29 a month or $290 a year, with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions open soon; until then WarRoom is free to explore and billing is not active.
How many lessons are there?
The Academy has 131 lessons across 15 territories on its skill tree. Boot Camp has nine; the rest are spread across six main and eight specialist territories.
Do I need to sign in?
You open the Academy from inside WarRoom Terminal. Sign in to save your progress to your account and to take Field missions and field tests, which are graded on the server.
What is a field test in the Academy?
Each territory ends in a field test inside WarRoom: a paper trade on the live market, with the plan locked before entry. When the trade closes, it is graded on WarRoom’s server from Trades, on how you planned it and how you ran it. The result is recorded, but it never changes the grade.
Are the practice charts real?
Yes. Practice and discovery cases use real Binance chart windows. Trade plans you write are replayed on those windows with fixed rules, including fees and a time stop, and the result is shown in R.
Does the Academy work on a phone?
Yes. The skill tree, lessons and practice all work on a phone.
